Shut Down

October 12, 2007 by josh

Closing this blog coz I’ve run out of things to write about.. for now that is.

For the most part, gsharkbait.blogspot.com does enough blogging for the both of us and it’s pretty darn good.

I’ll update this post with my new blog address, if and when I start a new blog. Till then, live long and prosper.

Cheers!

Take Back The Groove

September 7, 2007 by josh

Had Salsa class #6 last night and unlike the week before, both G and I heated up the dance floor once again, proving that we got our grooves back.

Last weeks’ 2-left-feet bug has evidently left us and unfortunately found its way to the other couples.

All is right with the world again. At least for us it is.

September 4, 2007 by josh

It’s easy to do the individual move but much harder to combine it with other moves.

Un-Wired

August 26, 2007 by josh

This is the obligatory 1st post on my notebook via a wireless router which G bought the day before yesterday.

I spent 45 minutes setting up the network and it’s been smooth sailing since, except for a few password and security issues in the initial stages.

Big hugs and kisses to G for the pressie.

August 24, 2007 by josh

This is the Open-hold CBL.. there are several variations and it’s not as easy as it looks.

The Double-Hand Turn – timing is everything.

Unanswered Prayers by Garth Brooks

August 13, 2007 by josh

Just the other night at a hometown football game
My wife and I ran into my old high school flame
And as I introduced them the past came back to me
And I couldnt help but think of the way things used to be.

She was the one that I’d wanted for all times
And each night I’d spend prayin that God would make her mine
And if he’d only grant me this wish I wished back then
I’d never ask for anything again.

(chorus)
Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when youre talkin to the man upstairs
That just because he doesnt answer doesnt mean he dont care
Some of gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.

She wasnt quite the angel that I remembered in my dreams
And I could tell that time had changed me
In her eyes too it seemed
We tried to talk about the old days
There wasnt much we could recall
I guess the lord knows what hes doin after all.

And as she walked away and I looked at my wife
And then and there I thankedd the good lord
For the gifts in my life.

*chorus*

Some of gods greatest gifts are all too often unanswered…
Some of gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers
