The idiocy that is me. 

Director: “In your opinion, what do you think makes a good sales person?”

Me: “Good product knowledge, lots of persistance and a little bit of luck.”

Director chuckles.

Now I’m thinking I should have added ”Good knowledge of my customers” too. Dingbat!

Quotas and quarter-ends

I never saw myself as a sales person.

It might be time to change that perception.

Must try²

Two establishments that I’ve heard about recently that I would really love to experience with G are Cafe del Mar and The Turquoise Room.

To say the least, I love purple sunsets and anything reminiscent of the romantic blues and whites of Greece.

A new destination

We’re off to Cherating, Kuantan, early tomorrow morning and the sun, sand and sea we hope to find there will be well worth the 5 to 6 hour ride up.

It’s my first time up to Cherating and it’s G’s first time riding long distance with me and the rest of the pack. Some modifications need to be made to the Harley to ensure both our comfort and safety but all that will be sussed out tonight.
