This song was featured in a few action flicks I’ve seen recently. It has a certain EMF / Primal Scream quality to it and I got hooked.

I love all things Rockabilly and the music is no exception.

I’ve always loved this song for it’s coreography and artistry. I was once told that the words/tune to this song were actually taken from a French lullaby or nursery rhyme. It suits the whole Great Expectations feel.

Birthday

 

I had a very pleasant birthday this year spent with my loved ones.

It all started with G surprising me with a visit to my office with an ice-blended Mocha on Wednesday evening and then taking me to dinner at a Thai restaurant and later tickets to watch Spiderman 3.

On Thursday, we had lunch at Ikea after a nice afternoon stroll through the store. We ended the evening by having a birthday and Mother’s Day double-celebration dinner at the Garden Hotel on Balmoral Road and Dre and Odie graced us with a suprise appearance.

How do you acquire any if no one will hire you because you don’t have any?

Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony.

Not blue nor green, it’s Turquoise!

Finally got to go to The Turquoise Room today with G and it was a lovely experience in all.
